The epic Austin Gorilla Run is on January 21st, 2012 starting at 9am. Race day includes various fun filled events such as a costume contest prior to the race, karaoke on the route, and a BLOCK party on 4th street in front of Fado Irish Pub. Fado will be providing free lunch to all Gorilla participants and volunteers. In addition to the race day extravaganza there are many other fun events to promote the race, raise money for the Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund, and make merry with other gorilla supporters! Check back this fall to see what’s going on with the Gorilla Run.

Packet Pickups:

This year there are five locations and times for packet and pickup (this includes your gorilla suit!). We’re making it as easy as possible for you to get what you need for this race.

(1) January 16th – Red’s Porch 6-8pm

(2) January 17th – Snack Bar 6:30-8:30pm

(3) January 19th – Hopfields 6:30-8pm

(4) Friday January 20th: Runtex on Riverside (422 West Riverside Drive) 11:30 am – 6:30 pm

(5) Race Day (January 21st): RunTex parking lot,  7AM- 8:55AM
